Meet Jasper (20230224-07)
Foster insights/story : I have fostered Jasper for a year now. He was very timid and hard to catch. Not sure how long he roamed the streets before being saved. He was a master escape artisttge first couple of weeks until he decided it wasn't so bad being with people. He might take a little to warm up to a new environment, but once he does, he is the most loyal, loving silly dog. While he may not like other dogs in his space, he minds his business and is not an instigator. He ignores other barking dogs on walks with his space being respected. He needs to be an only dog for his happiness and security. Other animals are just fine. He ignores cats, squirrels, chickens, cows, and horses. He has zero prey drive and just enjoys observing them. He is mellow but has a playful side. His favorite toy is any kind of ball. He isn't one for fetching, but he loves a good game of soccer. He is used to children ages 5-12but can be quite overly happy playing and can knock them down on accident, not being able to stop or swerve fast enough. He will be your best friend. He sits at your feet and is just content with ear and butt scratches extremely loyal dog. Jasper loves being brushed even when not needed. He is so deserving of a forever home and person/family of his own.
