Big Momma

Big Momma

From: Texas

Big Momma! Aye! As if life isn’t hard enough? They had to name me Big Momma! Really?? I be askin’ ye Who would adapt a dag wi the name o’ Big Momma? Aye! There’s days that I feel like the ugly duckling in a rescue full of swans!
Life has nae’ always been easy. Near tore the heart out o’ me when they took me pups and then turned me loose. I thought I’d die of loneliness.
I’m a boxer cross and I tell ye, me heart is as big as the highlands. I’ve a way of winklin’ out a smile in de crankiest of people.
Me foster mum tells me that she loves me to bits but that me manners need work. She says that because she’s not a fan o’ my jumpin’ up on people which I admit I do when I’m excited.
I should be lettin’ ya know also, I git along well wi’ some dawgs and not so well wi’ others. I’m ok if the other mutt
is calm and not aggressive.
I’m also a strong one! Me ma’am says I can pull her across the yard if I tried. For this reason, they suggest older children only for me.
And….of course, like all rescues, I’m going to benefit immensely from an obedience class which will teach me to walk nicely by your side.
