Needs a home with another dog: No, Boone does not do well with other dogs or cats.
Can live in an apartment: Yes, Boone could live in an apartment as long as he had plenty of walks for exercise.
We picked up Boone with four other dogs. He is a wonderful dog and loves people and attention but does not do well with other dogs or cats. Boone is an owner surrender as his owners had abandoned him but later came to the shelter and officially signed ownership over to us.
We learned that Boone’s right front paw had been caught in a trap during an ice storm. He does put a little weight on it from time to time. He does have excellent mobility and this does not slow this little fella down one bit! Boone is very friendly with his humans and the shelter is working on his dog reactivity daily. We’re hoping he could be around other dogs, without reaction, just not live with one.
