Chip

Chip

From: SA, Texas
Foster comments: Chip is a loving dog once he is comfortable with you. I pick him up from outside on the count of 3 and carry him like a baby on his back then set him inside standing to clean him off. I use baby wipes to clean his feet and legs. He wears outside booties if not in his chair. I have inside booties that gives him traction to help him stand and walk while inside. I have a blanket on the couch where I pick him up and let him hang out on the couch with the other dogs. I keep a pillow below him so if he gets off on his own he hits the pillow and not the floor.

SPECIAL NEEDS – Chip was shot by a BB and has little movement in his back legs. He will stand and take a few steps. He wants to walk so bad and one day he will I know it. He tries very hard to use them but needs a wheel chair to get around.
