Daisy Duke

Daisy Duke

From: Texas

Daisy is a total sweetheart and verified lovebug. She is very friendly and gentle when interacting with people and loves other dogs.
Daisy is a dog that needs a job! She’s no couch potato content to sit and watch hours of Netflix. We’re not suggesting that she join the Peace Corps, jobs for dogs can consist of carrying a back pack on their walks. Agility training, obedience training, scent training, trick-training, long walks and dog-friendly patios all qualify as “work” for dogs.
Daisy is a heeler x. She is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 52 lb. She is crate trained, and has nearly mastered her housebreaking.

Foster insights/story: She was with other dogs when found as a stray, we believe Max is her puppy. There were other adult dogs with her as well. She is friendly but she is a heeler & needs a job to do or she gets bored & goes on a walk about as we call it – she roams. We don’t think she has ever had a yard to stay in, instead she has land to roam on & was a stray for most of her life. Heelers are very loyal once they know they have a home.
