Foster notes: Very laid back dog.
Extremely dog friendly unless other dog is aggressive. Very strong cat/prey drive tho. Rides well in a vehicle without restraint. He does know how to sit on command and is easily trained as he’s eager to please his human. Elijah is an affection hog – he seeks out physical affection. He’ll jump up and lick your face if you quit petting him. No food aggression. Can run and play but would rather mosey around and rest. Really really sweet loving boy. As he been with his brother his entire life it would be very important for Elijah having a family that was responsive to his affection needs which might even increase when he was to separate from his brother Levi.

Canadian foster update: Elijah now knows how to sit and lay down on command (we’re working on kennel right now). He’s so sweet and loves to lay his head in your lap and cuddle. And he loves to stop and say hi to everyone on our walks, he is so good with new people. Also he is a bit of an anxious chewer but now that he’s settled he usually only goes for his toys.
