Backstory: Found on the streets of San Antonio as a stray. She was picked up by Animal Control. She had recently had puppies , but puppies were not found by ACS. She was not adopted during her 3 day stray hold and was released to be euthanized to make more space for intake. She was saved last minute by NDR.
She is a very sweet dog but does take some time to warm up to you. Once she does, she will be your shadow. She is definitely not crazy about men but is learning slowly to accept them. She is a very good dog and does not jump on furniture, does not beg for food, loves other dogs and is just very calm and chill most of the time. She has separation anxiety which is improving as she is being foster in a home where the foster is female and works from home. The other dogs in the home offer her company when foster has to leave the home. She does not do well at all in a boarding environment.
Recommend an adoptive home with someone who works from home or has someone at home most of the day.
