Well, truth be told, it’s dang lucky that I got good looks goin’ for me. I’m afraid I’m way more Toby Keith’s Red Solo Cup than opera
So if you have room for a little bit of country soul at your place, if mebbe your family is a little more chicken fried than gourmet, then you might want to take a chance on me.
I’m a fun lovin’, easy going dog, I’ve got a lot of energy and I love to play. I’m super agile and can keep up with you no matter how fast you run.
My name is Gizmo (Gizzy to my friends!) and I’m one heck of a nice guy. I love bein’ petted and loved on, get along real well with kids and girly dogs (sometimes I’ll scuffle with other guys). I’m a red heeler cross and I weigh 38 lb. I’m 2 years old.
Now, in the interest of full confessions, I gotta admit, I need some work with that thar’ house breakin’ thang. My foster”s been keepin’ me outdoors just cause her grouchy dog doesn’t like new guys!

Backstory: showed up at the back of our property on 4/19/2020. My husband drove over to where he was and he jumped right in his truck like he’d done it many times. Brought to the house for food/water. He stayed inside a few days, but he and our unaltered male dog got tied into it over food so he has been outside since. He loves outdoors and roaming free. Stays in the yard, very protective. Gentle, good-natured, likes to be petted. He will make someone a wonderful pet.
