Can live in apartment: noI am a happy, energetic boy who likes to meet everyone. I am a puppy in an adult dogs body because I have had very little training. My humans need to be experienced and confident in their abilities to handle a dog and be willing to provide me with the boundaries and structure I have never had. I tend to mouth hands and clothing when I get excited so my human/s can’t feel threatened by this and need to be able to interrupt it in a calm manner so as not to overstimulated me more. Any experience with a herding breed would be beneficial.
I need owners who are active and who will include me in that lifestyle. Getting rid of all that energy will help me be much calmer and better behaved in the house. Because I am energetic and I play rough if there are children in the home they need to be at least 16 years old and because of my strong prey drive no cats please!
A nice yard where I can fetch a ball to burn off some energy would be a bonus.
I can be dog selective especially with dogs that are loud and boisterous so my human needs to be a perceptive handler that will pay attention to other dogs we may encounter on walks and watch for any signs that I am becoming anxious so we can keep our distance. I am a dominant dog therefore if you have another dog it can’t be another dominant dog or a small dog. A relaxed well behaved dog may have a calming effect on me. I would definitely need to have a meet and greet with another dog to make sure we get along.
I am really excited to find my match and my forever home so if that’s you Quincys the name!
