Hears with her heart
From Aspen's adoptor: Lisa Annette Dowell
Its been almost 8 months since we welcomed Aspen into our home making it her furever and ever home. This sweet love bug makes my heart so happy. 
Here is a picture of puppy snuggles with Aspen from one night.
My hubby makes fun of me for talking to her all the time because she is deaf and doesn't hear a word I say to her. I alway respond with I don't care. She is always watching me and reading my body language and looking at what we are going to do next. And besides, lots of dogs that can hear don't listen anyway!
She may not hear with her ears, but she hears with her heart and she knows she is loved, and most importantly she knows she is home!
