Pretty Bo Peep!
Three years ago today we adopted Bo (formerly Little Foot) into our family! Bo was a pile of skin, bones, and anxiety when he came into our lives. Our poor Bo has been through so much, but we love him dearly .
Within the first week, Bo had to have his tail removed because under the fur, his tail was dead. A few months ago, Bo attacked our other dog Murphy out his sleep, extremely uncharacteristic of Bo. We feared we wouldn’t be able to keep him, but we have worked so hard with a trainer and behaviourist as well as our vet to get the dogs safely back together. Most recently, Bo has been diagnosed with anxiety and epilepsy after months of strange and scary behaviours and seizures, which now explains Bo’s uncharacteristic aggression. He is now starting anti-seizure meds. Bo and Murphy are doing well.
Bo has been one of my biggest challenges to say the least, but we didn’t give up on him. He is still a loving, snuggly, and loyal dog and he is part of our family. Love you Mr. Bo
Sorry for the long post! It’s been a stressful year with Bo but we wouldn’t change it.
