Meet Alex (20241203-01)
Foster insights/story: Alex was originally adopted by a middle to late aged couple along with his crate mate Theo whom he loved and played with. They were mostly fond of the husband and were considered his. Unfortunately their humans had a major medical change and could no longer care for them. He has done well in our home, but Alex has had some adjustment difficulties due to him being an alpha but not the alpha in our pack. He still does not tolerate other dogs interfering with his food. He's very responsive to call back and does not seem to be a flight risk. Alex is best suited for a single person to form a strong typical Chihuahua bond with, and though not aggressive towards children he would probably do better without them around.
