Meet Cher (20220217-07)
Back story: Cher was kept in a small enclosure on a chain before getting fostered, Cher's owner went to a nursing home and no one else took her. She ended up at a shelter where she had one pup (Sonny) and has been in foster care since. Cher was state side until Oct 28 2022, she went from a cage with her owner, to a cage in a kill shelter, to a pen with her first foster and to a pen with her second foster. In defense of the first two fosters, they had multiple rescues each from kill shelters (4+) not including their own pets. So they were able to give these rescues, Cher included, a second chance at a better life. Cher's interaction with other animals has been very limited if any at all. She is unsure how to interact with other animals, she has been making huge progress with her training, picks up commands within the day that they are shown, so far has been perfect meeting people, is always ready to play and loves cuddling with her people. Cher is such a good girl who always aims to please, extremely quick learner and would make an amazing working dog or someone's best friend. She is progressing daily as she has new experiences everyday. She is such a loving dog who deserves that same love in return. Cher will definitely need to continue with her training and be with family that is willing to put in the work. This will help her learn how to be a dog which she has just started to experience recently.
