Meet Evan (20240319-03)

Rescue Story: Evan was rescued from a field around an industrial area back in March 2022. Evan was rescued in rough shape where he was extremely skinny and seemed like he had been on the street for a while. Given there were many factories around where he was rescued, we thought maybe someone had wanted to use Evan as a guard dog but realized he wasn’t guard dog material and dumped him. We went around the factory, but no one identified Evan as their dog. Throughout his time at the city shelter, Evan was not prone to be adopted due to his size which is considered large in Korea. As he made his way to the euthanasia list, Band for Animal (BFA) took him in to our arms and Evan has stayed with us at our shelter since.

Evan's trademark is his three way pointing ears. He has the most triangle looking ears that points to the opposite direction.. he sure sometimes looks like a white Yoda. Other than that, he has an amazing personality where he plays well with other dogs. Often Evan is one of the most loved on dogs in our shelter. All the other dogs adore him and even when other dogs become a little too much playful, Evan lets them be. He is so patient and calm with other dogs. Evan loves to cuddle with our shelter volunteers and would often go towards them and poke them to be petted. Evan would be a lovely companion to your family! Please consider him to be your furbaby.
