Our dogs come from all over the world. We have rescue partners in over 16 countries that help us identify dogs in need that deserve a second chance.
While we do our best to get an understanding of the dog’s behaviors in advance, we work with a volunteer network of fosters who are assessing the dogs to the best of their abilities in order to help them find a new home. We do not guarantee temperament for any dog as many of these dogs have never been trained or even lived inside a home. They will rely on YOU to teach them what YOU want them to know.

Might be your new forever friend
Your new friend has had a tougher start to life than most. It can be very stressful to place a dog in your home only to have to re-place them into a new family because yours was not quite ready for a dog. Despite our dogs doing great in foster, remember that many of them come from other countries so your house is going to be a strange new place for them. They will need time to settle into your home and while some dogs may adjust quickly, others may take a few weeks (1 to 3) to really relax and understand their new living environment. The best thing you can do for your dog is to ensure there is a routine and consistent rules that are enforced by every member of the household. All dogs needs to have their own space to relax if they are getting overwhelmed.
