Meet Amber (20250116-12)

History: These happy, wonderful, puppies were found as strays in the harsh, cold weather in Northern Manitoba. They are young and essentially blank slates, ready for their families to guide them into being perfect companions. We can’t wait to see them start their next chapters with loving families!

Foster Comments: This special girl is sweet and spicy! Sweet because her favourite thing is your affection and she just stops and melts in your hands, soaking up every second. Spicy because she’s confident, full of pep and always ready to play fetch or just follow you around as you do your chores. Amber is very smart and highly trainable - she learned how to sit in just a few minutes! She’s progressing well on sitting when greeting people, taking treats and coming out of her crate. It’s impressive since she’s so young and full of puppy energy! She really enjoys playing with other dogs too so if you already have a playful dog they will be able to tire each other out! Amber would probably snuggle up to them while they’re napping afterwards. She gets along great with dog savvy kids over 10+ years and they really love their time together. She has not met younger children. Amber is cat curious and but not aggressive - just a typical playful puppy learning new boundaries!
