Meet Maia Grace (20240819-02)
Foster insight/backstory:
Maia Grace is a rescue. Her Mama was abandoned pregnant and for the first 8 weeks of her life she lived out in the bush with her Mama and 2 sisters. Unfortunately Mama died but we were able to save the three girls. She has always been very sociable, is very affectionate, loves meeting people and loves to run. She would be a great hiking/running partner. She knows sit, crate, heel and come, but her hearing is selective, she "comes" if she feels like it and she has the Husky stubborness and independence. Of the three girls, she is the alpha. She sleeps and eats in her crate. She is not a picky eater but I regulate her food to maintain her weight. She lives with a pack of 13 other resident and foster dogs. She does well with dogs her own size or bigger, but plays a little too hard for puppies and small dogs
About
probably best with older children.
she has grown up with Shepherds and Danes so she plays hard

she sleeps in a crate.

Partially, she tears up her dog bed and stuffy toys, but has had the same blanket since she was a puppy.
She has grown up with a pack. She would probably do OK with some one who is home during the day.
