Meet Moose (20251121-05)
Foster insights/backstory: Moose’s story starts in a quiet rural area, where he was sadly dumped on our street with no clue where to go next. Even in that scary moment, his gentle nature showed through—he didn’t bark or react when our Labrador greeted him at the driveway. It was like he was just relieved someone finally noticed him.
Since then, Moose has settled beautifully into a busy foster home with a dachshund, a Labrador, a mini doodle, and a German shepherd.
He blends right in with the pack and truly thrives with canine companionship.
Moose is a total love bug. He gets excited when you come home or first thing in the morning when he comes out of his crate, but he settles quickly and is happy just being near his people. He’s friendly with adults and great with older kids, though his size and enthusiasm might knock over little ones. He’s well-mannered in the house, crate trained, house trained, walks nicely on leash, rides wonderfully in the car, and isn’t destructive.
Moose is the kind of dog who just wants to belong—and now he’s ready for a family who will never let him be forgotten again.
