Meet Yoyo (20251109-01)
Rescue Story:
In March 2025, upon hearing news that a wildfire was spreading rapidly, WEACT set out in the early morning darkness toward Sancheong, Gyeongnam. With a trunk full of bottled water, dog food, and rescue equipment, we departed without hesitation. From that day on, the flames raged fiercely, spreading to Uiseong, Cheongsong, Yeongyang, Andong, and Yeongdeok. As the fire roared, animals that could run escaped in all directions. It was there, in the midst of that devastation, Yoyo was rescued.
Meet Yoyo, whose eyes sparkle the moment he sees a person! He wags his tail and greets everyone with his entire body, full of joy. Though he still carries some scars on his body from the wildfire, Yoyo is brightly healing every day. Whether it’s an apartment or a house, Yoyo can adapt well anywhere. He also gets along wonderfully with other dogs.
When he was rescued, Yoyo had been living in a livestock shed. He didn’t even have a name. Now, he’s ready to begin his new life, where he can be loved and called by a name that truly belongs to him. We’re looking for a family who can give Yoyo the warm, loving home he’s never had, so that his heart can shine brightly and remain unscarred for the rest of his life.
